Rob Nicol is a Principal Consultant in Beaumont&Beaumont’s executive search practice.
Rob has recently joined Beaumont&Beaumont’s team after a successful career working across government and private sectors. Prior to joining Beaumont&Beaumont, Rob was a Director and Contractor Representative for Palladium, an implementing partner to DFAT. He has worked with government on large recruitment and procurement processes in complex operating environments across the Pacific and Southeast Asia.
Earlier in his career Rob was posted with the government to the Solomon Islands and later to Vanuatu with Palladium to oversight rule of law programming and support strengthening access to justice for marginalised and vulnerable groups. He has also spent significant time in East Timor and the Philippines working on law and justice and governance issues.
Known for his supportive and communicative style, Rob has managed processes and risk in extremely difficult situations in line with Commonwealth rules and legislation. His judgement and relationship building skills have helped him place and oversight successful teams and can be relied upon to advise on all elements of HR practice.
An ANU graduate of Arts (English, French and International Relations) and Laws, Rob was admitted to practice in the ACT Supreme Court in 2007.
