Jonathan is an experienced senior manager, company director and business consultant. Born and educated in Adelaide, he moved to Canberra in 1991 where a one-year appointment has turned into a twenty-year commitment to the Canberra region.

As a senior manager, he was the Chief Executive Officer of one of Australia's national legal practices for nearly 10 years. During this time he managed practices in Canberra, Melbourne and Perth, and has particular experience in understanding the needs of professional services organisations from the senior management perspective.

He served for a number of years on the firm's board as an Executive Director and has extensive skills in negotiating at a senior level and bridging the gap between management and practitioners.

In addition to managing Commonwealth recruitment rounds at the executive and senior executive levels, he is regularly invited to bring his expertise to his clients as an external panel member.

Jonathan is regarded as a communicator of some note. He has previously been a teacher beginning his professional life as an academic at the Australian National University. He has also been a radio broadcaster and was for a time a critic for The Australian. He is regularly called on as a keynote speaker sharing his expertise on managing professionals professionally.

In addition to his undergraduate degrees, he holds Masters of Business Administration and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment. He is a member of FINSIA, the Australian Institute of Management and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
