Before advertising, we commence each assignment with an in-depth briefing to gain insights into the position’s core strategic and technical requirements, your organisational culture and dynamics and desired outcomes. This comprehensive understanding allows us to identify the ideal skill set and character match for the role and effectively communicate meaningful information to potential candidates regarding your expectations for a new team member.

By being the designated point of contact, we respond to applicant inquiries immediately and draw on our deep experience with the APS in responding to all applicant questions and supporting them to apply.

We review applications against the selection criteria, and provide panels with a shortlisting report, to support efficient decision-making. If required, prior to shortlisting, we can conduct referee and probity checks, including resume validation, as agreed with the Selection Panel.

We collect and collate any necessary declarations from applicants.

We provide recommendations on interview questions, scenario-based activities and other approaches, schedule and manage candidate experience and participation, and support selection panel deliberations and decision-making to ensure compliance and the best candidate.

Interviews can be conducted in our executive boardroom with state-of-the-art technology to support virtual attendance where necessary.

We draw on our detailed records of panel discussions to interview candidate referees, explore relevant areas of performance and behaviour in detail and provide these reports to panel members.

We produce comprehensive written selection reports to record and reflect decision-making, including an APSC Certificate.
